Rubi has been in the plumbing industry for over 30 years with its head office in Quebec City and offices in Toronto and Calgary.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Sales and Business Development Representative to join our entrepreneurial team for the British Columbia market. As the Sales and BD Rep, you are a highly motivated, self-driven individual who thrives on promoting, selling and maintaining relationships with clients through strong customer service skills. A strong sales and relationship role, you will excel through superior interpersonal and communication skills, by promoting, selling and securing orders from existing and prospective commercial clients. You will be an expert in your field by demonstrating a strong knowledge of products, and assisting clients in selecting those best suited to their needs.

In addition, you will be responsible to:
- Visit the established clientele to maintain and grow the business
- Inform, promote and provide technical information on the products
- Provide product training to dealers sales staff
- Develop new markets
- Identity potential projects opportunity and contact developers accordingly
- Exercise a market watch (competition, products, business opportunities)
- Participate jointly with the Rubi team in maintaining a high level of customer service
- Maintain the Customer Management System (CRM)
The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- 5+ years of outside sales experience, knowledge of the plumbing industry would be an asset, but not required
- Solid computer skills with proficiency in MS Office
- Proven ability to work with a sales team to produce results through excellent customer service and follow up
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people
- Have a “can do” attitude possessing the drive, determination and commitment to producing results
